Role Overview:
As the Senior QA Engineer, you will bridge the gap between development and product management, ensuring our platform meets the highest standards of reliability and user experience. You will drive the adoption of automation, reduce technical debt, and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including regression, smoke, and load testing.
- Integrate automated testing directly into CI/CD pipelines to ensure immediate feedback on code quality.
- Analyze complex bugs and report findings with clear, actionable documentation to the development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and improve overall product quality.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in the QA lifecycle and implement best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and quality.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Automation Testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of testing methodologies (Unit, Integration, System, and Acceptance Testing).
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Familiarity with SQL for database verification and query analysis.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
