Are you a meticulous Quality Assurance professional with a passion for building bulletproof automated frameworks? QuantumPath Technologies is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead our testing initiatives in the heart of Austin's tech hub. We don't just find bugs; we architect systems that prevent them.
In this role, you will be a critical pillar of our engineering culture, driving the shift-left testing philosophy and ensuring our cloud-native platforms deliver seamless experiences to millions of users globally. You will work alongside world-class developers in a high-velocity, Agile environment where quality is everyone's responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
- Integrate comprehensive automated test suites into our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) to ensure continuous quality.
- Lead the strategy for end-to-end, integration, and regression testing across microservices architectures.
- Conduct deep-dive API testing and validation using Postman and RestAssured.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leads to define acceptance criteria and ensure 100% feature coverage.
- Perform performance and load testing using JMeter to ensure system stability under peak traffic.
- Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers on automation best practices and clean code principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on automation.
- Expert proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Proven track record of building automation frameworks from scratch (not just maintaining existing ones).
- Deep understanding of the SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
