Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Lead performance testing initiatives with JMeter and k6 for high-transaction financial APIs
- Develop comprehensive test strategies covering regression, security, and compliance testing
- Mentor junior QA engineers on continuous integration pipelines and shift-left practices
- Collaborate with product teams to define quality metrics and release criteria
- Champion test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) methodologies
- Document testing processes and maintain QA documentation in Confluence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with 3+ years in fintech or regulated industries
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript automation frameworks and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Strong understanding of API testing (REST, GraphQL) and database validation (SQL, NoSQL)
- Certification in ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent quality assurance credentials
- Proven experience implementing test automation in microservices architectures
- Familiarity with accessibility testing standards (WCAG 2.1) and security testing tools
- Experience with containerized testing environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
