Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing with Jenkins and GitLab
- Lead defect management processes using JIRA and Zephyr
- Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and drive preventive actions
- Mentor QA team members on best practices and emerging testing technologies
- Champion quality metrics and reporting across engineering organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in QA automation with 3+ years building end-to-end test frameworks
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript for automation development
- Proficiency in REST API testing with Postman and Newman
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Certification in ISTQB or similar QA methodology preferred
