Responsibilities
- Design & Execution: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to cover both functional and non-functional requirements.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure code quality at every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with the team to conduct load and stress testing to ensure application stability and scalability under peak traffic conditions.
- Bug Management: Utilize JIRA and defect tracking tools to log, track, and verify bugs, providing clear reproduction steps and insights to developers.
- Test Strategy: Develop and evolve the overall QA strategy, including risk-based testing, regression testing, and smoke testing protocols.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data documentation to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across the team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Automation Testing.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript (TypeScript).
- Frameworks: Strong hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
- Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of SQL and the ability to write complex queries to validate backend data integrity.
- Tools: Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured, and version control systems like Git.
- Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
