Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and strategies for new feature releases.
- Automation Development: Develop, maintain, and evolve automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to ensure 80%+ test coverage.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
- Bug Management: Lead the investigation and root-cause analysis of critical bugs, partnering with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
- Performance Testing: Collaborate with the team to implement load and performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for test scenarios, frameworks, and processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in Automation Engineering.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
- Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, and API testing tools (Postman). Experience with Cypress is a plus.
- Databases: Solid knowledge of SQL for data verification and complex query writing.
- Agile: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD workflows.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
