- Lead vendor negotiations achieving 12-15% annual cost reduction targets
- Oversee purchase order lifecycle from requisition to payment processing
- Analyze market trends and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Manage cross-functional procurement projects with engineering and operations teams
- Drive sustainability initiatives through supplier scorecard programs
- Mentor junior buyers and optimize procurement workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience with 3+ years in management
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and e-procurement platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost-benefit analysis
- Proven track record of implementing supplier diversity programs
- Exceptional negotiation and contract management abilities
