Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies for direct and indirect spend.
- Lead complex contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Build and maintain high-performance supplier relationships to ensure continuity and quality.
- Analyze market trends and economic data to identify risk mitigation opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals with corporate growth objectives.
- Implement data-driven inventory management and procurement automation tools.
- Mentor junior procurement analysts to foster a culture of excellence and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar spend portfolios.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and e-procurement platforms.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
