- Negotiate complex contracts with global suppliers, achieving 12-15% average cost savings
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs
- Implement and maintain supplier performance metrics using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Drive sustainability initiatives through ethical sourcing and supplier diversity programs
- Manage $50M+ annual procurement budget with rigorous financial controls
- Analyze market trends and leverage data analytics for proactive risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience with 3+ years in management
- CPSM or CIPS certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in contract negotiation, TCO analysis, and supplier relationship management
- Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives (>10% savings)
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software (Ariba, Coupa) and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and financial reports
