Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to optimize cost savings and supplier performance
- Lead vendor negotiations, contract management, and relationship building for key suppliers
- Analyze market trends and data to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks
- Oversee purchasing budgets and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing strategies with production schedules
- Implement and maintain procurement technologies to enhance process efficiency
- Drive sustainability initiatives in sourcing and vendor selection processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience with 3+ in leadership
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar designation required
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and e-procurement platforms
- Proven track record in vendor management and strategic sourcing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data and financial metrics
- Exceptional negotiation skills with experience in complex contract negotiations
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and import/export processes
