Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for raw materials and MRO supplies
- Lead vendor negotiations to secure optimal pricing and contract terms
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure material availability
- Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards
- Manage purchasing budgets and KPI tracking across multiple categories
- Oversee e-procurement systems and process automation projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing
- CIPS or CPSM certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and e-procurement platforms
- Proven track record of cost reduction and supplier performance optimization
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in spend analysis tools
- Strong leadership abilities with cross-functional team management experience
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
