Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for raw materials and MRO supplies
- Lead vendor negotiations to secure optimal pricing and contract terms
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks
- Manage supplier relationships and performance metrics through KPI tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing with production schedules
- Implement sustainable procurement practices and ethical sourcing standards
- Oversee purchasing budget and forecast accuracy for $50M+ spend
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years in procurement with 3+ years in management role
- CIPS or CPSM certification strongly preferred
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and e-procurement tools
- Advanced negotiation skills with demonstrated cost reduction achievements
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial purchasing environments
- Data-driven decision-making with analytical mindset
