Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement spend and mitigate supply chain risks
- Lead negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service agreements
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance data to inform purchasing decisions
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including RFQs, RFPs, and contract lifecycle management
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with business objectives
- Implement and maintain supplier relationship management (SRM) systems and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing processes and cost reduction
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and sustainability goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive procurement experience with 3+ years in a managerial role
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software (SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar ERP systems)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data, financial metrics, and supplier performance
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent certification required
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing category strategies
