Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for 200+ suppliers across diverse categories
- Lead vendor negotiations resulting in 15%+ cost reduction while maintaining quality standards
- Implement and optimize e-procurement systems for 10,000+ transaction processing
- Analyze market trends to forecast commodity risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Manage cross-functional relationships with R&D, Operations, and Finance teams
- Oversee compliance with ISO 14001 and sustainable procurement policies
- Mentor a team of 4 purchasing specialists through performance development plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 7+ years progressive purchasing experience with $50M+ annual spend management
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Ariba and e-sourcing platforms
- Proven track record of international vendor relationship development
- Expertise in contract lifecycle management and risk assessment
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
