Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across multiple categories (raw materials, MRO services, logistics)
- Lead vendor negotiations and contract management to ensure optimal terms and risk mitigation
- Analyze market trends and pricing fluctuations to inform procurement decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing with production schedules and quality standards
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Manage supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement programs
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ethical sourcing policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation required
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost analysis
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics tools
