Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across 15+ commodity categories
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with Fortune 500 partners
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks
- Lead cross-functional procurement projects with engineering and operations teams
- Implement procurement technologies and optimize ERP workflows
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and sustainability procurement standards
- Mentor junior buyers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing
- CPSM or CIPS certification preferred
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and risk management
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Ariba and procurement analytics tools
- Proven track record of $2M+ annual cost savings
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
