Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities across North America
- Negotiate complex contracts with Tier 1 suppliers to achieve cost savings targets
- Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with engineering, operations, and finance teams
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to mitigate supply chain risks
- Implement e-procurement systems and process automation for efficiency gains
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct periodic performance evaluations
- Drive sustainability initiatives in procurement practices and supplier selection
- Lead category management strategies for raw materials and indirect spend
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing experience with 3+ in leadership
- CIPS or CPSM certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost analysis
- Proficiency in SAP Ariba and e-procurement platforms
- Proven track record of achieving 15%+ cost reduction targets
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
