Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to optimize costs and quality.
- Negotiate high-level contracts with international suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing lifecycles, from vendor vetting to final procurement delivery.
- Analyze market intelligence and spend data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams in mitigating supply chain risks and ensuring material availability.
- Monitor vendor performance KPIs and conduct regular business reviews to maintain high service standards.
- Oversee inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock levels and lean efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of strategic purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost-reduction projects.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is a significant advantage.
