Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across 15+ commodity categories
- Lead vendor negotiations securing 15-20% cost savings annually
- Implement and manage ERP purchasing modules (SAP/Oracle)
- Oversee supplier performance metrics and KPI tracking
- Coordinate cross-departmental purchasing initiatives with R&D and Operations
- Drive sustainability initiatives through ethical sourcing programs
- Manage $50M+ annual procurement budget with rigorous cost controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience with 3+ in management
- CIPS or CPSM certification required
- Expertise in strategic sourcing and total cost analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SAP MM/Oracle Procurement modules
- Proven track record of vendor management and contract optimization
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Excellent negotiation skills with international suppliers
