Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across 15+ commodity categories
- Lead complex vendor negotiations achieving 15-20% cost reduction targets
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance data to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams for new product sourcing
- Implement ERP system enhancements for procurement workflow automation
- Oversee compliance with ISO 14001 and corporate sustainability standards
- Mentor a team of 5 purchasing specialists through performance coaching
- Conduct annual supplier scorecard reviews and contract renewals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience with $50M+ spend portfolios
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation required
- Expert proficiency in SAP Ariba and Oracle procurement modules
- Proven track record in international supplier diversification strategies
- Advanced negotiation skills with Fortune 500 supplier relationships
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost modeling and TCO analysis
