Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with Fortune 500 companies
- Analyze market trends and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement procurement technology solutions
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and sustainability procurement standards
- Oversee budget allocation and procurement KPIs
- Mentor junior purchasing specialists and drive process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing or retail
- CIPS or CPSM certification preferred
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and e-procurement platforms
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation and contract management
- Strong analytical skills with experience in spend analysis tools
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects in matrixed organizations
