Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities across multiple categories
- Lead complex vendor negotiations to secure optimal pricing and contractual terms
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including RFQs, bid analysis, and contract management
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to drive cost reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives
- Implement sustainable procurement practices and supplier diversity programs
- Lead procurement process improvements and digital transformation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience in manufacturing or retail
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation required
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, cost analysis, and contract negotiation
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and e-procurement platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Proven track record of achieving 15%+ cost reduction targets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
