Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with Government of Canada security protocols
- Lead digital transformation initiatives for public-facing services (e.g., healthcare portals, tax systems)
- Develop comprehensive architectural roadmaps with 5-year strategic vision
- Ensure compliance with Treasury Board Secretariat standards and federal cybersecurity frameworks
- Mentor junior architects and establish best practices for technical documentation
- Collaborate with policy teams to align technical solutions with legislative requirements
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for infrastructure modernization projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise architecture with 5+ years in public/government sector
- Expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
- Deep understanding of Government of Canada Enterprise Architecture principles
- Proven experience with FedRAMP/IRAP compliance frameworks
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of public sector digital service delivery models
- Experience leading multi-million dollar infrastructure modernization projects
