Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure cloud-native architectures for federal government systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with Treasury Board Secretariat security protocols (ITSG-33)
- Develop technical roadmaps aligned with Canadian Digital Service standards
- Conduct risk assessments for critical infrastructure modernization
- Mentor junior architects and establish governance frameworks
- Collaborate with policy teams on digital service delivery optimization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise architecture with 5+ years in public sector
- Expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP with government compliance certifications
- Proficiency in TOGAF framework and ITIL practices
- Security clearance eligibility (Reliability Status)
- Experience with federal government procurement processes
- Strong background in microservices and container orchestration
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven track record of delivering mission-critical projects
