Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee end-to-end digital transformation roadmaps for federal departments
- Lead agile development teams implementing cloud-based solutions and API integrations
- Ensure compliance with Treasury Board directives, AODA standards, and security protocols
- Stakeholder engagement with ministers, deputy ministers, and external partners
- Develop digital governance frameworks and change management strategies
- Monitor KPIs for service delivery improvement and cost optimization
- Represent Canada at international public sector innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in public sector IT with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in GCP/Azure/AWS enterprise implementations
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- Security clearance eligibility (Reliability Status)
- Experience with Canadian government procurement processes
- PMP/ITIL certifications or equivalent digital governance credentials
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional team leadership
- Knowledge of Canadian accessibility legislation and data sovereignty laws
