Responsibilities
- Design and execute digital transformation roadmaps aligned with federal policy objectives
- Oversee implementation of secure cloud infrastructure and data analytics platforms
- Lead cross-agency collaboration to streamline service delivery channels
- Ensure compliance with Australian Government Information Security Framework (AGDSF)
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT) in public service contexts
- Manage vendor relationships and technology procurement processes
- Present transformation outcomes to parliamentary committees and executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in public sector digital initiatives
- Proven expertise in agile methodologies and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Certification in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cybersecurity frameworks
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets exceeding $5M for complex projects
- Deep understanding of Australian public sector compliance and governance
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across government, industry, and community
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Public Administration, or equivalent
