Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies that align with client business objectives and brand voice.
- Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with tier-1 national and international media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
- Draft, edit, and distribute high-impact press releases, media advisories, pitch letters, and executive talking points.
- Proactively secure high-value media placements, speaking engagements, and thought leadership opportunities for key executives.
- Lead crisis communication planning and rapid-response efforts to protect and enhance corporate reputation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional marketing, social media, and product teams to integrate PR campaigns seamlessly.
- Track, analyze, and report on PR campaign performance metrics and ROI using industry-standard tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a highly related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications, preferably within an agency environment.
- Proven track record of securing high-impact media placements in business, tech, or mainstream national publications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an innate ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis communications and executive-level stakeholder management.
- Strong portfolio of successful PR campaigns and established contacts across mainstream and digital media networks.
