Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies that align with client business objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top-tier journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
- Manage high-profile product launches, press events, and executive thought-leadership campaigns.
- Draft compelling press releases, pitch decks, op-eds, and media briefing documents.
- Monitor media trends and provide real-time insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Lead crisis communications and reputation management efforts with precision and discretion.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns using industry-standard KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in agency or in-house PR, preferably in the tech or lifestyle sectors.
- Demonstrated history of securing placements in Tier-1 national and trade publications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a refined editorial eye.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects under tight deadlines.
- Deep understanding of digital PR, SEO integration, and social media analytics.
- Existing network of media contacts within New York and national markets.
