Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies that align with client business objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with national media, tech journalists, and industry influencers.
- Lead the drafting and distribution of press releases, thought leadership articles, and media pitches.
- Manage end-to-end event planning, including press conferences, virtual roundtables, and media launches.
- Provide strategic counsel to C-suite executives on crisis communications and brand positioning.
- Track, measure, and analyze the ROI of PR campaigns using industry-standard reporting tools.
- Mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback on media pitching techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in an agency or high-growth corporate PR environment.
- Demonstrated history of securing placements in top-tier publications (e.g., WSJ, NYT, TechCrunch).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a mastery of AP style.
- Proven ability to manage high-stakes crisis communications situations.
- Experience in digital PR and leveraging social media to amplify earned media efforts.
- Ability to travel as required to represent agency clients at industry conferences and events.
