Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies that align with client business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers across print, digital, and broadcast media.
- Oversee crisis management protocols and provide timely, strategic counsel during high-pressure situations.
- Lead a team of PR associates, conducting performance reviews and mentoring junior staff on best practices.
- Write and edit press releases, op-eds, and pitch decks that drive media coverage and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, social media, and creative to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Analyze PR metrics and ROI to report campaign success to stakeholders and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in Public Relations, with at least 2 years in a management or senior strategy role.
- Proven track record of securing placements in top-tier publications and industry-specific media outlets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and tone.
- Strong network of media contacts in the technology and lifestyle sectors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience using PR software (e.g., Cision, Muck Rack) and media monitoring tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
