Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with client business objectives
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with top-tier journalists, influencers, and media outlets
- Lead crisis communication initiatives and reputation management for high-profile clients
- Oversee media outreach, press release distribution, and press event coordination
- Analyze campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations to clients
- Mentor junior PR team members and foster a collaborative agency culture
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive PR experience with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of securing coverage in Tier 1 media outlets (Forbes, WSJ, etc.)
- Expertise in crisis communication, media training, and executive positioning
- Demonstrable success managing multi-million dollar PR campaigns
- Strong analytical skills with experience in PR measurement and ROI reporting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Active membership in PRSA or similar professional organization preferred
