Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Secure media placements in top-tier outlets (Forbes, WSJ, TechCrunch, etc.)
- Manage crisis communications and reputation management protocols
- Oversee social media engagement and digital PR campaigns
- Lead cross-functional teams including creative, marketing, and executive stakeholders
- Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies using data-driven insights
- Maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry partners
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive PR experience with agency or in-house leadership
- Proven track record placing stories in national/international media
- Expert crisis management experience with real-world case studies
- Strong writing skills with samples of press releases, pitches, and op-eds
- Proficiency in PR tools (Cision, Meltwater, TrendKite)
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Experience managing teams of 3+ professionals
- Portfolio demonstrating measurable campaign success
