Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR campaigns across earned, owned, and shared channels
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists, influencers, and stakeholders
- Oversee crisis communication protocols and reputation management strategies
- Lead media pitching and secure high-impact placements in top-tier outlets
- Manage cross-functional collaboration between marketing, legal, and executive teams
- Mentor junior PR professionals and conduct performance reviews
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and optimize strategies quarterly
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive PR experience with agency-side background
- Proven track record of securing placements in WSJ, Forbes, and TechCrunchExpertise in crisis communication and reputation management
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital PR tactics
- Exceptional writing skills with samples for press releases and op-eds
- Experience managing PR budgets of $500K+
- Certification in PR or Communications (preferred)
- Ability to travel 10-15% for client events and industry conferences
