Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies that align with client business objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, influencers, and industry analysts.
- Draft high-quality press releases, thought leadership articles, and media pitches.
- Manage rapid-response crisis communications and internal messaging protocols.
- Track and analyze media coverage metrics to deliver monthly performance reports to stakeholders.
- Oversee event logistics and media coordination for product launches and press briefings.
- Mentor junior staff and cross-functional teams on best-in-class PR practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in agency or in-house corporate communications.
- Proven track record of securing placements in Tier-1 media outlets (e.g., WSJ, TechCrunch, NYT).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a mastery of AP style.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools such as Muck Rack, Cision, or Meltwater.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- Experience managing multi-channel campaigns with measurable ROI.
