Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies that align with client business objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with top-tier tech, business, and lifestyle media outlets.
- Lead crisis communication responses and reputation management initiatives for high-profile clients.
- Manage end-to-end press release development, pitch creation, and media briefing materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PR into wider digital marketing campaigns.
- Act as the primary media spokesperson and provide executive-level media training.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics to refine messaging and optimize media reach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in agency or in-house PR, preferably within the tech or consumer goods sector.
- Proven track record of securing placements in top-tier publications (NYT, WSJ, TechCrunch, etc.).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of published work.
- Strong existing network of media contacts and industry influencers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in media monitoring and analytics tools like Cision, Muck Rack, or Meltwater.
