Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Own the full project lifecycle from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Agile Mastery: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and coach teams on Agile best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Risk & Resource Management: Identify potential risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and effectively allocate resources to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and executive sponsors, providing transparent updates, reports, and managing expectations effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between technical teams (engineering, design) and business units to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine project management methodologies to drive process improvements and enhance team productivity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certification: PMP, CAPM, or SAFe Agilist certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, specifically within the software development or IT industry.
- Methodology: Deep expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Tools: Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Asana.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization.
