Responsibilities
- Lead the full design process from schematic phase through final construction documentation.
- Coordinate seamlessly with engineering consultants, clients, and municipal stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and internal production team deliverables.
- Ensure all designs comply with local zoning codes, ADA requirements, and sustainability standards.
- Mentor junior staff and lead design charrettes to foster an environment of continuous learning.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve complex field issues.
- Drive the integration of BIM technology to improve project efficiency and visualization.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect (RA) in the State of Washington or eligible for reciprocity.
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in commercial or multi-family residential design.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design skills and technical construction knowledge.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Deep understanding of building codes and construction administration practices.
