Your role will involve conceptualizing designs from initial sketches to construction documentation, ensuring our vision aligns with both aesthetic brilliance and functional integrity. Responsibilities
- Lead design development for complex commercial and residential projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including structural engineers and sustainability consultants
- Create detailed construction documents and specifications
- Conduct client presentations and stakeholder workshops
- Ensure compliance with building codes and ADA regulations
- Mentor junior designers through portfolio reviews and technical guidance
- Research and implement innovative sustainable design strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 10+ years of progressive architectural experience
- LEED AP BD+C certification required
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio demonstrating large-scale project delivery
- Illinois architectural license (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- Experience with BIM coordination and parametric design tools
- Proven track record in leading design competitions
