Responsibilities
- Lead the development of comprehensive design documentation for complex projects.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and consultant coordination from SD through CA phases.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor junior design staff and oversee the quality control of technical drawings.
- Conduct site visits and field observations to ensure design intent and code compliance.
- Integrate sustainable design practices and high-performance building strategies into every project.
- Prepare high-quality presentations for client and planning board reviews.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) required.
- Current AIA licensure or path to licensure in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in an architecture firm.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of IBC/NYC Building Codes and zoning regulations.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale multi-family or commercial projects.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a portfolio reflecting high design standards.
