In this role, you will lead complex projects from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring our commitment to design excellence and technical precision remains at the forefront of every build.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and development of large-scale commercial and mixed-use projects.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and clients to ensure project alignment and budget adherence.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed construction document sets and specifications.
- Manage the permitting and approval process with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB).
- Mentor junior staff and lead project teams to ensure high-quality design standards.
- Perform construction administration duties, including site visits and submittal reviews.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through professional communication and effective project delivery.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect (RA) in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in an architectural firm.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of NYC Building Codes and Zoning resolutions.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex project phases and multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
