Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of complex architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration.
- Manage coordination between clients, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed construction documents and technical specifications.
- Ensure project compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA standards.
- Mentor junior designers and architectural staff to foster professional growth and design excellence.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of architectural integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Current NCARB certification and active NY State Architect licensure.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in large-scale commercial or residential design.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and manage client relationships effectively.
