Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process for large-scale urban developments.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and clients to ensure project alignment.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed construction documentation and specifications.
- Manage municipal permit applications and navigate zoning code compliance.
- Mentor junior staff and lead design review meetings to maintain firm standards.
- Perform on-site construction administration to ensure design intent is executed.
- Implement advanced sustainable design strategies and BIM workflows.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Active Architectural License (AIA/NCARB) required.
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in an architecture firm.
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of NYC Building Codes and Zoning resolutions.
- Proven track record in project management and multidisciplinary team leadership.
- Excellent communication and client-facing interpersonal skills.
