Responsibilities
- Lead project teams through all phases of design, from conceptual sketches to final construction documents.
- Coordinate seamlessly with consultants, engineers, and clients to ensure project alignment and budget adherence.
- Develop detailed technical specifications and ensure compliance with NYC building codes and zoning requirements.
- Oversee construction administration, including site visits and review of contractor submittals.
- Mentor junior design staff and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented studio environment.
- Prepare high-quality presentation materials and lead client meetings with confidence.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) required.
- Current New York State Architectural Licensure (RA) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in a fast-paced architecture firm.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong technical knowledge of building envelopes, structural systems, and sustainable practices (LEED AP preferred).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale commercial projects with complex logistics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead presentations and mediate technical discussions.
