Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical development of complex architectural projects from schematic phase through construction administration.
- Coordinate with engineering consultants, clients, and municipal agencies to ensure project compliance and quality.
- Direct and mentor junior architectural staff to ensure team alignment with project goals.
- Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and profitable delivery.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed construction document sets and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design integrity.
- Lead presentations for stakeholders and design review boards.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect (RA) in the State of New York or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in a design-focused architectural firm.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of NYC Building Codes, Zoning Resolutions, and ADA requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and project management capabilities with a proven track record of team management.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for high-stakes client interaction.
