Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process from initial concept to completion of construction documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and municipal authorities to ensure project viability.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee construction administration activities, including site visits and submittal reviews.
- Direct the production of high-quality Revit models and technical drawings.
- Mentor junior architects and designers to foster professional growth within the team.
- Ensure all project designs comply with zoning laws, building codes, and accessibility requirements.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- Licensed Architect (AIA) in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial or multi-family residential architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of structural systems and building envelope technologies.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Exceptional communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
