Responsibilities
- Lead the design development phase for complex, large-scale commercial projects.
- Manage project teams and coordinate with consultants to ensure design intent and budget adherence.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and regulatory agencies during the permitting process.
- Oversee construction administration to ensure rigorous quality control and project schedule alignment.
- Mentor junior architectural staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and design excellence.
- Implement sustainable building practices and LEED certification requirements across all project phases.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect (AIA/NCARB) with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of IBC/WBC codes and local Seattle zoning regulations.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary design teams.
- Exceptional visual communication and 3D modeling skills (Rhino/Enscape preferred).
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end mixed-use or commercial developments.
