Responsibilities
- Lead Design & Documentation: Oversee the entire architectural design process, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Client Relations: Present design concepts and progress reports to clients, effectively communicating technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations (UK Building Regulations).
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior architects and staff, fostering a supportive and high-performance design environment.
- Technical Coordination: Collaborate closely with structural, MEP, and interior designers to ensure seamless project integration.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Architecture (RIBA Part 2 accredited) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in architectural design, preferably within a senior or lead role.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and SketchUp.
- Portfolio: A strong, portfolio showcasing a diverse range of architectural projects.
- Registration: Fully registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and Chartered Membership (RIBA) or equivalent.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas persuasively.
