Responsibilities
- Lead the design development and construction documentation phases for complex commercial projects.
- Manage coordination between structural, MEP, and civil engineering consultants.
- Ensure project compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA standards.
- Mentor junior design staff and oversee the production of high-quality Revit models.
- Conduct site visits and construction administration to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Represent the firm in client presentations, public hearings, and design reviews.
- Optimize sustainable design strategies to achieve LEED Gold certification standards.
Qualifications
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Current Architect License (AIA/NCARB) in the United States.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial or mixed-use architectural practice.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of building envelope assemblies and high-performance detailing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple project timelines and cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing roles.
