As a key member of our leadership team, you will bridge the gap between creative conceptualization and technical execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process from conceptual sketches through final construction documentation.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and landscape architects to ensure design integrity.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Conduct site visits and construction administration to ensure adherence to design intent and building codes.
- Mentor junior architectural staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
- Oversee the submission process for municipal permits and zoning approvals.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect (AIA) in the state of Illinois or ability to gain licensure via reciprocity.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial or mixed-use architectural projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Thorough knowledge of IBC, zoning codes, and sustainable building certifications (LEED, WELL).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing engagements.
