Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process from conceptualization through construction documentation for diverse projects (commercial, residential, mixed-use).
- Manage project teams, mentor junior architects, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Develop comprehensive architectural drawings, specifications, and reports using advanced BIM software.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent and project goals are met.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
- Present design concepts eloquently to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine solutions.
- Oversee construction administration, including site visits, RFI responses, and submittal reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management.
- Licensed Architect (RA) in the State of New York or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and material science.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery and design innovation.
- Experience with sustainable design principles (LEED accreditation a plus).
